The popular family of Snapdragon processors from Qualcomm is extended now with four of them, one of which is specifically developed for the upcoming smartwatches.
Most smartphones at these latitudes are equipped with processors of Snapdragon-type from the company Qualcomm. They are available in all price ranges and types of specifications right down to the absolute cheapest smartphones to the top models from Samsung, HTC, LG, Sony, Microsoft and others.
A market, there is a great deal of growth in terms of smartphones, is price friendly models in the mid-range. Here are many of these models are typically equipped with processors from Qualcomm, such as Snapdragon 400, 410 and 415.
Lightning-fast mobile data with up to 1000 Mbit/s
Now it’s time for an update of the processors in this class with the three new models Snapdragon, Snapdragon 435 and 425 Snapdragon 625. Common to the three processors is that they store on a lightning-fast modem for mobile data over the 4 g/LTE, where the theoretical speed is called the whole 1,000 Mbit/s via the so-called “carrier aggregation” technology. It corresponds to the speed, also known as LTE Cat. 16.
By way of comparison saves the latest Snapdragon 820-topprocessor for the upcoming top models “only” on LTE Cat. 12 with up to 600 Mbit/s in download, which, however, is more than enough for any purpose.On the front is, therefore, made significant improvements with Qualcomm’s processors, but it is not at all.

New small and power efficient processor for smartwatches
Android Wear-smartwatches has so far mostly been equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor, 400-originally intended for phones. That is why the last news a new processor is only created for the purpose of seating in the upcoming smartwatches.
The processor goes under the name Snapdragon Wear 2100 and created to be able to handle all the tasks expected of the next generation smartwatches.
This means that the first and foremost is 30% smaller than current processors in smartwatches, so expect both thinner and more elegant smartwatches in the future. At the same time, it uses 25% less power, which is a great advancement in smartwatches, who typically do not keep more than 1-2 days.
