Android N Allows Applications Customize The Mouse Pointer

Applications and Google Play already reaching the first Chromebooks games we see as Google wants to put Android on the desktop, but there is still a long way to go.

Applications and games must be adapted to be used with a mouse or touchpad under a desktop interface, and Android N already provides all the necessary tools.

The final API of Android N allows allows you to display applications in windows mode to the Windows on compatible devices like tablets of large size, and also enables developers customize the mouse pointer.

Custom Pointer API It lets you customize the appearance, visibility and the behavior of the mouse or touchpad pointer to offer in Android that same experience on Windows, Linux or macOS. In this way applications can change its appearance in certain actions while interacts with objects, as for example in an editing application show in the pointer tool selected icon.
